A Heart that Forgives
Tuesday May 04, 2021
Tuesday May 04, 2021
This last Sunday one of our elders, Jim Traut, talked to us about forgiveness.
According to the Scriptures, forgiveness is not optional…A family of believers that does forgiveness well, looks like the kingdom of heaven.
Unforgiveness can hold you hostage, but forgiving sets you free. When you forgive, you are giving up what you think is your right to get even.
When we are compelled by the great debt that Jesus paid on our behalf, forgiveness will come much easier.

Guard Your Heart
Tuesday Apr 27, 2021
Tuesday Apr 27, 2021
This last Sunday we heard from Jake Vigil a fresh take on what it means to guard your heart.
His showed us that there is a difference between guarding your heart from something out of fear, and guarding your heart for something out of love. That something we want to protect is covenant.
Here are four practical ways to protect your covenant:
Testimonies
Meditate on His Scriptures
Say no to lies and fear
Stay motivated by your marriage
-
When we live out of covenant love, jealousy, bitterness, disappointment, and fear are all crushed. We are truly free to see the fruit of the kingdom in our lives.
Blessings!!

House of Acts: Lose your life
Monday Apr 19, 2021
Monday Apr 19, 2021
This last Sunday, we wrapped up our House of Acts Series. -- Paul’s life message: lose your life, only then will you find it. Paul lived so much because he died so much.
If you live for yourself, you will never actually enjoy your life. You’ll be too busy trying to control it. It is only when we give our lives up completely to be used by Him, that we find true fulfillment, purpose, and peace.
BLESSINGS! and thanks for listening!!

House of Acts: Faith Reveals the Kingdom
Monday Apr 12, 2021
Monday Apr 12, 2021
This last Sunday Alex taught through some of Acts 27-28 where Paul puts on display what it looks like to live a life of resurrection power.
When you have the same Spirit that rose Jesus from the dead alive in you, your faith becomes the roads people without faith travel into the kingdom of God.
-
We were designed for overflow. Our circumstances don’t have the final say in what we have to offer. We don’t have to live in self preservation because death is not our greatest fear.
Blessings!

Easter Sunday: Why you need Resurrection to be true
Wednesday Apr 07, 2021
Wednesday Apr 07, 2021
This last Sunday we continued in our House of Acts series as Alex narrowed the three reasons why we need the Resurrection to be true:
We need atonement. There’s a cost to the way that we live.
The problem of self-righteousness. Your judgement on others actually puts you in chains.
You need a life without fear. Putting your faith in this Jesus who embraced death on your behalf will set you free from fear.
-
If this resurrection is true, it’s the solution to all the problems of humanity. No other solution humbles you, makes you more forgiving and loving, gives you courage in the face of death, and promises life forever with God and loved ones.
Blessings! He is RISEN!

House of Acts: What scared Felix?
Wednesday Mar 31, 2021
Wednesday Mar 31, 2021
This last Sunday Alex Rettmann taught from Acts chapter 24, where we find Paul discussing three things with Felix, the governor: righteousness, self control, and the judgement to come. Alex reasoned with us from the Scriptures how these three things are what the gospel of Jesus is really about, and why it is so offensive.
Praying The Fear of The Lord over you this season! Blessings & We love you!! Thanks for listening

House of Acts: What's on Saints Hill's Conscience?
Tuesday Mar 23, 2021
Tuesday Mar 23, 2021
This last Sunday, Alex Rettmann taught us through the beginning of Acts 23, which begins with Paul stating before the council, “I have lived my life before God in all good conscience up to this day.” (v1)
For Saints’ Hill to live in good conscience, we will:
Be centered on gratitude.
Value the building of family over efficiency.
Leave a legacy of faith, hope and love.

House of Acts: Stewarding the Holy
Friday Mar 19, 2021
Friday Mar 19, 2021
On Sunday we had the distinct privilege of hearing from our very own Bria Wolter. She brought us an incredibly sharp word from Acts 212-22, asking the question: what does it look like to be a stewarding church? God is moving in remarkable ways in our family, how can we steward all that He is entrusting us with?
Identity. Going to the Father for vision over your life, a vision that will guide you in all discernment as you go.
Good interpretation of the prophetic. We interpret the prophetic in relationship with our Creator, equipped with truth from the Scriptures, and secure in our God-given identity.
Saints' Hill, may we be a people who think with His thoughts, keep our eyes set on Jesus, stay wary of the crowd, and choose obedience no matter what lies ahead of us.

House of Acts: Eternity in our mind
Tuesday Mar 09, 2021
Tuesday Mar 09, 2021
This last Sunday we had the privilege of hearing from one of our elders, Andoni Montaño. - Andoni reminded us that we prophesy with eternity in our minds - our job is to prophesy the answer, not the problem. The Holy Spirit may reveal to you what the enemy is doing in a situation, but only for the purpose of highlighting how God intends to bring victory to it. Our prophetic answer is always the person of Jesus.
Be encouraged today! Blessings!

House of Acts: 4 signs of a good leader
Wednesday Mar 03, 2021
Wednesday Mar 03, 2021
This last Sunday Jacob Vigil taught us through the beginning of Acts 20. From this text we observe these four markers of a good leader:
Good leaders are encouragers who love to give encouragement
Good leaders have good friends & mission-led friendships.
Good leaders understand that Jesus is their sabbath.
Good leaders stay spiritually awake.
-
May we bring these truths before the Lord and let His presence empower us to become better leaders!
